The following must be considered
The 3D printing cannot be carried out short-term and fast:
- A print can last more than 8 hours, depending on the size of the object.
- The device should be operated under supervision only.
- It is not possible to print every day for space reasons, as the room is also needed for other works.
- You have to configure the objects yourself. Already existing objects can be 3D scanned at the ITMC.
- The object prints cannot be larger than 23x18x13cm.
- Larger objects must be scaled or split. • For split objects, the client must provide several files with sections.
- The following file formats are needed for the 3D print:
- STL or
- OBJ
- We do not post-process the prints.
- The print is delivered with building panel and supporting points.
- The print is fee required. o A setting lump sum of 3 Euros per print is charged.
- The material price amounts to 0.10 Euros per gram. It is calculated based on the weight determined by the printer.
- Every item is printed with a raft (building panel) and possible support structures. The material needed for this is also included into the calculation.
- The printer prints monochrome in the following colours:
- white
- beige
- grey
- black
